Advanced file search for mac?

I've noticed that some files are not able to be found through a regular spotlight search or the finder. I recently used a special disk cleaning software that allows me to see every single memory space on the disk, but I can't look for any file specifically without having to go through every single one individually. Is there any software that allows me to search for specific files on my disk?

How to drop the all the 1's in a correlation matrix

I'm trying to change/eliminate the 1's that run diagonally in a correlation matrix so that when I take the average of the rows of the correlation matrix, the 1s don't affect the mean of each of the rows.
