BEM solver derivatives

During the OpenMDAO workshop in 2022 it has been mentioned that someone did some work on the analytic (or algorithmic?) derivatives for a Boundary Element Method solver, for the use in gradient-based optimisations, and would be willing to share. Is there any reference to that work?

How to drop the all the 1's in a correlation matrix

I'm trying to change/eliminate the 1's that run diagonally in a correlation matrix so that when I take the average of the rows of the correlation matrix, the 1s don't affect the mean of each of the rows.
